  As university students around the world started a new semester this month, five Camfed graduates were settling into their studies at two of Africa’s top learning institutions.

	In Kiswahili, "faraja" means "comfort". The Faraja Orphans Rescue Ministry's (FORM) goal is to provide relief and comfort to orphan children in Musoma, Tanzania. FORM was started by Tanzanians for Tanzanian children. Faraja is an Inter-denomination Charitable Organization established in 2005 and registered as a Non-Governmental Organization in 2006. The Faraja ministry is based on the Bible passage of James 1:27, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” (NIV) Faraja Ministry believes that taking care of orphans is the way of showing Christ's love and mercy to the world. Kwa mujibu wa mtu wa karibu na mrembo huyo mwenye maadili, Novemba 24, mwaka huu, watu hao waliingiza picha kwenye mtandao mmoja na kusema mlimbwende huyo kwa sasa ameamua ‘kujiuza’.
Habari zikaenda mbele zaidi kwa watu hao kuweka namba ya simu ya mkononi ya Genevieve wakieleza kuwa kwa anayemtaka awasiliane naye.
Picha hizo ambazo watu hao wanadai ni za Genevieve zinamuonesha akiwa amesimama, lakini zikachomekwa na nyingine za kutengeneza ambazo eti ni miss huyo akiwa mtupu.

Mkurugenzi wa Lino International Agency ambao ni waandaaji wa Miss Tanzania, Hashim Lundenga.

Novemba 6, mwaka huu, paparazi wetu alimtwangia simu kinara huyo wa Bongo mwaka 2010 na kumuuliza ukweli wa picha hizo.
“Ninasikitika sana kwa kashfa hii niliyotengenezewa bila mimi kujua, mtu ametumia picha zangu na nyingine za kuungaunga na namba yangu ya simu katika mtandao akidai eti ni mimi najiuza, jambo ambalo si kweli.
“Katika hali ya kawaida jamani miss kama mimi tena niliyewahi kushika taji la juu naweza kuweka picha na namba zangu za simu na kusema natafuta mabwana? Ukiachilia mbali malezi niliyonayo, hata maadili ya Kitanzania hayaruhusu uchafu huo.
“Picha moja niliyosimama nilipigwa na kaka yangu mjini Morogoro ambako tulikwenda kwenye Miss Morogoro na pale ni hotelini nilikofikia,” alisema mrembo huyo.
Baadhi ya mitandao ya kijamii imeingia lawamani ikidaiwa kutumika vibaya na watumiaji wake. Inadaiwa kuna watu wanatengeneza picha chafu za watu maarufu na kudai ni zao halisia kitendo ambacho si cha kweli.

Sir Alex Ferguson leads his team to Portugal with him going into his 27th year in charge of his beloved Manchester United tomorrow evening to play their second group match against SC Braga. Braga were quite an attacking side at Old Trafford two weeks ago with them going two goals up inside the first 20 minutes. It took two goals from Javier Hernandez and one from Jonny Evans to give United the three points and nearly guarantee them a place in the knockout stages which commence next year.

Manchester United are in some great form at the moment, despite a flurry of goals being conceded. They have now not lost a league match since the 3-2 result against Tottenham back in September. United have won 8 matches out of the 10 matches that have been played in the league this season, beating Liverpool at Anfield, Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and Arsenal at Old Trafford. These three results are great for United, who face up to their bitter rivals on the 9th December at the Etihad.

Braga have had some great results in the Portuguese league and now stand third in the table, so it just shows that they are not an easy team to beat, as we found out at Old Trafford two weeks ago. A result in Portugal for United tomorrow and Sir Alex Ferguson will be able to put some youth players in the squad for the remaining two group matches.

Players to watch:

Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie: Manchester United’s modern-day Yorke and Cole were meant for each other. In the matches they have played in together, they have notched up 6 goals and 8 assists, which is a great achievement. When these two play well together, opposition defenders struggle to catch them and stop them scoring. Rooney seems to play better in a midfield role. If Sir Alex Ferguson played the diamond formation, I feel these two will be on an endless hunt for goals throughout the match.

Éder and Alan: The Portuguese striker has already scored four goals in the league this season, but their play-maker is Alan. Alan is a tricky right-winger with a fantastic final delivery of the ball. He got himself seven domestic assists last season so he was among the best that season. Both have stepped up this season since Lima left the club on transfer deadline day. Manchester United will be in for a tough ride tomorrow night if these two players want to shine on European football’s biggest stage.

About the opposition manager:

José Peseiro was an instant hit with Braga fans after he secured UEFA Champions League group stage qualification in a dramatic penalty shoot-out against Udinese back in August. Braga are now performing in the most lucrative competition in world football. Peseiro was the manager of Sporting was once assistant to former Reds coach Carlos Queiroz at Real Madrid.

Congratulations Simba Sports Club, Tanzania Football (Vodacom Premier League) Champions 2011/2012…!!!!

Tanzanian giants Simba have claimed the national title, after being forced to wait 10 days to celebrate.
They rounded off their campaign with a 5-0 drubbing of last year’s title holders Young Africans.
Their victory was actually assured on Friday after their nearest rivals were beaten, putting Simba out of reach.
That match, between Azam and Mtibwa Sugar, was a replay, after a previous game was controversially abandoned, postponing Simba’s success.
Azam – who have a wealthy businessman, Salim Bhakresa, behind them, nonetheless take second place and will relish their chance of making maiden appearance in continental competitions.
Simba’s win over Young Africans was the biggest score-line in any match between the two sides for more than 30 years, and confirms Simba’s resurgence.
They are on the verge of reaching the knock-out round of the Confederation Cup after winning the first leg of their tie against Al Ahly Shandy 3-0 a week ago.
The team will now represent Tanzania in next year’s Champions League as well as in the East and Central Africa Club championship, while Azam will play in the Confederation Cup.
Fans of Simba celebrated through the streets of Dar es Salaam as they finally made sure of the winning the title.

Simba humiliate Yanga

Champions Simba Sports Club thrashed bitter rivals Yanga SC 5-0 in the Dar es Salaam derby at the National Stadium on the final day of the 2011-2012 season.
The win matched Simba’s biggest ever win over Yanga as the victors were handed their league diadem equaling the record of their rivals of 18 league titles.
Ugandan striker Emmanuel Okwi was the undoubted star of the match scoring twice and playing a part in the other three.
Simba enjoyed a dream start to the derby going ahead in the first minute through Okwi. Drama would unfold in the second half as the winners and Okiw in particular ran riot.
First, Okwi and Felix Sunzu combined but the Ugandan was brought down in the box with the referee pointing to the spot. Sunzu stepped up to make it 2-0 on 55 minutes.
After the goal, Yanga made changes as Ghanian Keneth Asamoah came on for Davis Mwape in the 56th minute and soon after the change, Simba caught Yanga out with another counter attack as Okwi scored Simba's third goal and his second of the afternoon on 53 minutes.
Okwi was at the centre of everything and he earned his side another penalty after being fouled in the box. This time skipper Juma Kasseja stepped to score and make it 4-0 in the 67th minute.
Yanga could not live with Okwi and Athumani Iddi tripped him in the 18 yard box with Patrick Mafisango sealing Simba's victory by dispatching the penalty.
The win matches Simba’s biggest win over their arch rivals. In 1968, Yanga beat Simba 5-0, and nine years later Simba got their revenge beat Yanga 5-0.

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama rolled to re-election Tuesday night, vanquishing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney despite a weak economy that plagued his first term and put a crimp in the middle class dreams of millions. In victory, he confidently promised better days ahead.
Obama spoke to thousands of cheering supporters in his hometown of Chicago, praising Romney and declaring his optimism for the next four years. "While our road has been hard, though our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back and we know in our hearts that for the United States of America, the best is yet to come," he said.
Romney made a brief, graceful concession speech before a disappointed crowd in Boston. He summoned all Americans to pray for Obama and urged the night's political winners to put partisan bickering aside and "reach across the aisle" to tackle the nation's problems.
Still, after the costliest - and one of the nastiest - campaigns in history, divided government was alive and well.
Democrats retained control of the Senate with surprising ease. With three races too close to call, they had the possibility of gaining a seat.
Republicans won the House, ensuring that Speaker John Boehner of Ohio, Obama's partner in unsuccessful deficit talks, would reclaim his seat at the bargaining table. With numerous races as yet uncalled, the size of the GOP majority was unknown.
